The author writes a very natural and convincing tale of a woman who knows what she wants, and takes control, until a tall Texan comes to town and turns the tables on her.Ī short read at 60 pages, but wow. My wife and I have read the 50 Shades and other erotica, this was better, just right for a bedtime reader. I think she is an exceptional individual and pretty cool to boot - I certainly look forward to seeing more of her in the future.

I like Tawny, but not in that '50 Shades' way or whatever. I think in less capable hands it could have been written that way but the author's approach was so much more adept, appealing and, of course, erotic. What I was really impressed with was that I never got the feeling that Tawny was, in any way, a 'loose woman,' so to speak. It would be flippant to say that the heroine of this story is an 'easy woman.' On the contrary, Tawny is a smart, vivacious and very sexy woman who is incredibly self-assured and is not afraid to go after what she wants - and she does.
